Marlon De Silva is a first-generation Sri Lankan American producer, editor, and director born and raised in Los Angeles. His passion for storytelling began at eight years old, leading to an early internship at Fox Studios while still in high school. While earning his B.A. in Television, Film, and Media Studies from Cal State LA, he joined NBCUniversal as a Cable Entertainment intern, rising to his current role producing and editing content across television and streaming. Beyond his editorial work, Marlon has directed and produced multicam broadcast productions, further expanding his storytelling craft.
In 2021, he was one of only 35 filmmakers selected nationwide for the Academy Gold Rising Program’s Production Track in Film Editing, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is also a National Active Member of the Television Academy.
